SOUTHBURY - Robert Joseph Hatch of Southbury died suddenly Thursday, July 21 of natural causes.
Robert was the beloved husband of Norma and father of Patricia Hatch (Stephen) of VT, Timothy and Christopher Hatch both of CT, Nancy Robinson (Glenn) of CT and Cathleen Maccio of CT along with his five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren ... all of whom were his passion in life.
Bob was born in Cheshire, CT to the late George M. and Mary (Sheehan) Hatch. He served honorably in the Army during the Korean Conflict.
Bob is also survived by his sister Alice Hatch of Cheshire along with several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his siblings Mary Fede, George and Phyllis Hatch.
Robert had a long career in finance and lending and spent his retirement with his family and friends and loved the ocean and his Red Sox... of which he was a lifelong fan.
Bob's family will receive visitors on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Carpino Funeral Home, 750 Main Street South in Southbury. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 28 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Church, 910 Main St. South in Southbury. Interment will take place at a later date. Donations in Bob's memory can be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital, 501 St. Judes Pl, Memphis, TN, 38105.
