Kevin M. Sullivan

SOUTHBURY - Kevin Sullivan, 65, of Southbury, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2023, at Danbury Hospital. He was the loving husband of Susan (Harrison) Sullivan.

Kevin was born in Waterbury on January 20, 1958 to the late Edward and Joan (Lattimer) Sullivan. 

Kevin graduated from Holy Cross High School in Waterbury, and went on to start his career as a route salesman for Coyne Textile Services.  Kevin and Susan were married in 1985 and settled in Southbury where they would raise their daughter.  Kevin was proud to be a lifetime member of the Mattatuck Drum Band, joining in 1969 at the age of ten.  He was a Mason at the King Solomon Lodge No. 7 in Woodbury, the Scottish Rite and Sphinx Shrine in Newington, as well as the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks.

In addition to his wife, Kevin is survived by his daughter Kaitlin Sullivan; his grandson Grayson Sullivan; his brother David (Regina) Blanchard; his father-in-law and mother-in-law Robert and Harriet Harrison; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Bob and Cindy Harrison; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 25, 2023 at South Britain Congregational Church, 693 South Britain Road in Southbury.  Memorial donations in Kevin's name are asked to be directed to the Mattatuck Drum Band, PO Box 11565, Waterbury, CT 06703.  For directions, or to leave a message of remembrance, please visit www.CarpinoCares.com.
