James Jossick Tribute

James L. Jossick (Jim), 87 of Kensington New Hampshire passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport, Massachusetts on Sunday May 29, 2022, after a brief illness. James loved his family and was a devoted husband to Maria K. Simms with whom together they shared 10 children. Jim raised most of his children in Newtown, CT which he held fondly in his heart before moving to New Hampshire.

Born and raised in Bridgeport, CT on November 10, 1934, to Louis A. Jossick and Helen J. Jossick (Murzyn). He attended Fairfield Preparatory School in Fairfield, CT 1948-1951 and graduated from Harding High School in 1952. He was a graduate of Louisiana Christian University in Pineville, Louisiana in 1956 where he studied and received a BS in Chemical Engineering specializing in Metallurgy. He was immediately employed by Handy & Harman in Fairfield, CT. Jim Co-founded Connecticut Engineering Associates Corporation in Sandy Hook and worked there until the mid-1980's. He moved to New Hampshire in 1985 and started a new manufacturing business located in an old sawmill called Omni Technologies. He was very successful and he then purchased commercial buildings and a beautiful residential property near the coast. Jim's business grew and he moved the business to Epping, NH. He was awarded several patents, most notable is an aluminum braze - the primary reason we don't see cars overheating anymore! Jim sold his business in 2008 and then began 02211 Management & Design Technologies LLC in 2011.

Jim loved to debate politics with his sons or anyone else he could find to listen. He made every effort to attend his children and grandchildren's sporting events and performances. He also enjoyed watching all sports, especially the NY Giants, NY Yankees, NY Rangers, soccer, and golf. He was also a great athlete himself in playing football in high school and in college as a quarterback. In his later years he enjoyed a game of golf.
