George Joseph Kyer

SOUTHBURY - George Kyer, 62, departed this life on November 11, 2021 in the comfort of his home. He was the beloved husband of Celia (Ness) Kyer.

George was born in Bridgeport on January 25, 1959, to the late George and Edna (Millak) Kyer.

George was a graduate of Andrew Warde High School in Fairfield. He completed his trade as a sheet metal mechanic at Bullard-Havens trade school. He was the proud owner of his own sheet metal business. 

George is survived by his wife Celia Kyer of 40 years; son Jacob Kyer, his wife Laura and their two children Abby and Nate of Key West, Florida, son Luke Kyer and his wife Danielle of Thomaston, Connecticut, and many other family and friends. He was predeceased by his sister Debbie Brown.

George will be sorely missed by his wife, children, and grandchildren but will continue to live on in their hearts and minds.
