Frederick Richmond Tribute

Frederick W. Richmond Jr., 89, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2022 at Litchfield Woods. He was born in New Milford, CT, on October 14, 1932 to the late Frederick Wallace Richmond, Sr. and Florence Morrow of Washington Depot, CT.

Fred was a truck driver for over 40 years, and after retirement he went on to work for EdAdvance in Litchfield, CT for 10 years. He loved Harley Davidsons, taking long rides in the country and horseback riding. Fred was a man of many skills and trades and was very hardworking.

Fred is survived by his two daughters, Cheryle Kovalaski and her husband Wayne of Torrington, CT and Debra Laughlin and her husband Donald of Port Orange, FL. Fred also leaves three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He will be missed dearly by all. A special thank you to his stepchildren, Daryl Hardisty, Lisa Bennet and sister Lynette. Besides his parents Fred was also predeceased by his grandchild.
