Donna M. Swindell

Donna M. Swindell passed away gracefully after a long battle with autoimmune disease on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at the age of 70. 

Donna was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, animal-lover, and friend. She was an unforgettable woman. Family was Donna's priority. She cherished her children, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. She was overjoyed when she learned she would be a grandmother. Her grandchildren were an abundant source of energy and promise. Planning holidays, spoiling her family with delicious Italian favorites and experimental dishes, and entertaining friends and family were among her favorite activities. She adored spending time with her family and friends at the lake or on a beach by the ocean basking in the sun.

Donna is survived by her two sons and their spouses, Erick (Kristina) and Craig (Kristen), her granddaughters Evelina and Macie, her sister Patricia and brother John.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Donna on a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Donna's name to the ASPCA. The Carpino Funeral Home of Southbury has been entrusted with the arrangements.
