Don My Love,
Love is beautiful but sometimes more than one can bare.
But to be ecstatically in love for 37 years, that is truly rare.
How fortunate I have been that Don came into my life
And through many challenges, I was able to become his wife.
We all have our behaviors and our daily yang and yin
But Today is the beginning of feeling like a fish without a fin.
I still have that excitement that young lovers feel
The anxious desire to see my love with hope that he will heal.
God, the Universe and Don will make the appropriate decision
Whatever that team decides to do will be a blessed vision.
Carolyn Finch-Hulme April 22, 2020.
