Dianna Ariel Ottaviano, 30, unexpectedly passed on September 14, 2021 at home in Southbury where she resided with her loving father.
She was born in Peekskill, NY on November 9, 1990 to Robert Ottaviano and Cynthia Lipner.
Dianna was a free spirited adventurer, traveler, and lover of all animals, most especially her sphinx cat Caesar. She grew up in Southbury, CT and graduated from Pomperaug High School in 2008. She went on to attend Western Connecticut State University where she earned her BSN in 2012 . Dianna was a committed RN in CT and later in CA . She worked long hours on many COVID units and ICU’s throughout the pandemic, always an advocate for her patients.
In her free time, Dianna was a practitioner and performer of the Aerial Arts, enjoyed hiking, horseback riding, working out, and spending time with her sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Dianna is survived by her 2 sisters Aimee and Amber; nephews Brayden and Aiden; nieces Ava and Abigail; her Aunt’s Nancy and Rosa; Uncle’s Jerry and Paul, as well as countless cousins and friends. She was loved more than she ever realized and her passing has left a gaping hole in our hearts. She will be missed and remembered dearly, until we meet again.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 10:30 am at Carpino Funeral Home, 750 Main Street South, Southbury. Interment will follow at Ridgebury Cemetery in Ridgefield. In lieu of flowers, It is suggested that contributions in her memory be directed to The National Alliance on Mental Illness at https://donate.nami.org.
