Southbury - A. Eileen Yade, 95, formerly of Greenwich, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2022 at The Cook Willow Healthcare Center. She was the beloved wife and devoted companion of the late Harold J. Yade Sr, with whom she shared 72 beautiful years.
Eileen worked as a receptionist for the Buster Brown Company in Greenwich and for the AIFS Company in Greenwich until her retirement. Eileen enjoyed many years of family gatherings and holiday parties. She loved horses and was a proficient rider, both English and Western style, loved Irish culture, and most of all, being with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Eileen is survived by her daughter Eileen Major of Oxford, grandchildren Kimberly J. Major of Oxford, and Kevin G. Major (Holly A.) of Naugatuck, five great grandchildren; Keith DuBois (Maria), Morgan DuBois, Amanda DuBois, Megan Major, Kali Major, and two great-great grandchildren, Savannah DuBois and Kane DuBois. In addition to her cherished husband Harold, Eileen was preceded in death by her son Harold J. (Bud) Yade Jr, and her infant granddaughter Christine Major. Eileen’s family would like to extend their sincere appreciation for the exceptional care provided to her by Cook Willow Healthcare Center in Plymouth and Watermark of Southbury over the past few years.
Friends and family may visit Carpino Funeral Home, 750 Main Street South, Southbury CT on Friday, April 15, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Interment will be at a later date and at the convenience of the family.
