Our family had a unique and challenging situation when our mom passed Oct 2018. Long story short, we had to have mom shipped from Conneticut where she spent her last 2 years to Forest Lawn in California where she had a crypt adjacent to our dad. Carpino's took care of preparing mom for viewing, made the arrangements for her flight back to California, provided a special container to protect her casket and accommodated our every request. Everything was done professionally but with care and concern for the family. We were so pleased. Thank you Carpino, well done!

Carpino made a painful time more bearable. While under Covid restrictions, I was unable to come to CT to oversee the coordination of services for our beloved friend. With one phone call to Andrea, Carpino handled all logistics and made everything seamless. When we were able to come to CT to pick up our loved one's cremains Jayon was extremely sweet and understanding. Additionally, Elizabeth continues to check on us to ensure we were connected with supports if needed. I could not recommend Carpino more highly. Seems like an odd thing to review but I wanted to say something about how supportive, respectful, and professional Carpino’s was for my moms funeral. They did anything and everything that we asked. They helped us make choices for her outfit. They were honest and open about everything that happened during this difficult time. The service for my mom was beautiful. They did several extra things to add personal touches. The home itself must be the oldest house in Southbury. With its historic charm is it was warm and welcoming. Our family experience was absolutely wonderful. Jayson, the funeral director, was easy to work with and was very respectful of all that we wanted to do for our mom. Andrea, who was in charge of dressing and preparing mom did an awesome job. Many of the people who came to pay their respects commented how great mom looked. Elizabeth, who is the administrator, followed up a couple of times after the funeral just to make sure all was ok with the family and to say if we needed any support they were there for us. Matt, Jayson, and Andrea were great to work with. They were very kind, considerate, and caring of me and my daughters needs and relieved us both of a lot of extra stress. They were with us every step of the way with my mothers services. My mother passed away in Florida,
which made everything in planning her wake and funeral more complicated. The kids took charge for us, contacted a funeral home in Florida, and worked the details with her preparation for airfare transportation. They received her at the airport, transported her to the funeral home, and prepared her for the services and her final resting place. My mother was beautiful and we were very pleased with the outcome. I would recommend them to anyone.

The recent passing of my husband was a very difficult time and over a holiday weekend. With no advance arrangements, Jayson and Andrea were most helpful in getting things in place quickly with no issues or high pressure sales. I highly recommend Carpino Funeral Home services. They are truly a first class organization. During these unusual times that the world is experiencing right now, they went above and beyond in making the process of accepting the delivery of my aunt‘s remains from Florida for burial in Connecticut. I was unable to accompany her due to COVID-19 travel restrictions and they handled her interment with great care and concern making the process most comforting for me. I truly appreciate the many calls to me afterwards offering me support in my bereavement and assuring me that if there were anything I should need that I should not hesitate to contact them.
