M. Ellen (Hicock) Capobianco

SOUTHBURY - M. Ellen Capobianco, 90, departed this life peacefully on June 30, 2020, at Cherry Brook Health Care Center in Canton. She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene Capobianco for sixty-two years.

Ellen was born in Waterbury on May 4, 1930, to the late Howard and May (Robinson) Hicock Jr.

She was a nurturing and compassionate caregiver throughout her life, caring for herself and her family as a health and nutrition enthusiast. She will be remembered for her cooking, gardening skills, and her devotion to her family along with Eugene, attending almost every musical and athletic event for their grandchildren throughout the years.

Ellen will be missed by her daughter Leah Alibozek and her husband Larry of New Hartford; her grandchildren: Luke Alibozek and his wife Kristen of Granby and Lauren Alibozek of Meriden; and great grandchildren: Ella and Teddy; twin brother Howard Hicock III; and several nieces and nephews.
