Newtown - Rose Lawrence, 86, a lifelong resident of Newtown, departed this life on March 12, 2019 at River Glen Healthcare Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Earl Lawrence, Jr. Rose was born in Newtown, CT on March 14, 1932 to the late Joseph and Tessa (Schuta) Hoitko.
She was a veteran of the US Air Force.
Rose is survived by her daughters: Ruth Ann Potter of Danbury and Terry Lynn Lawrence of Southbury; grandchildren: Sarah F. Potter, Justin Serke, Dr. Brittany Baisch (and her husband Thomas) and Garett Serke; and great-grandchildren: Lincoln and Grant Baisch.
