SOUTHBURY - Joyce Perkins, 91, departed this life on July 8, 2019 at the Lutheran Home. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald Perkins. Joyce was born in Bridgeport, CT on April 27, 1928 to the late Arthur & Dorothy (Hayward) Paddock. Joyce grew up in the Long Hill section of Trumbull as well as attended school in Bridgeport. She later worked as a CNA for St. Vincent's Hospital for close to 25 years. In 1994, after retirement, she and her husband Donald moved down to Rockledge, Florida, where they enjoyed 18 beautiful years. In 2012, she and Donald moved back to Woodbury and enjoyed watching their family grow with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In her spare time, Joyce loved to knit and complete adult coloring books.

Joyce is survived by her five children: Rodney Perkins, Donald (Marianne), Beverly (Daniel), Darlene (Ken) and Mardele (Russ). She also leaves behind 12 Grandchildren and 18 Great-Grandchildren.
